On June 18, more than 150 people gathered at La Boîte à Ressorts, the community village where ERIS is located, to celebrate World Refugee Day.
Several associations working with exiled people in Lyon, such as Singa, Kabubu, RES, and LEA joined ERIS to organize this afternoon event.
Their beneficiaries, as well as neighbors from the village and the neighborhood, were able to enjoy a variety of activities: creating flags in the colors of their countries, awareness-raising water pong, board games, an advocacy workshop, a dance workshop, a migration timeline, and more.
This sunny afternoon ended with a concert by Zeph Band, an Afro/jazz music group, which had everyone dancing, from the little ones to the very little ones 👶🏽, and the grown-ups too!
